Haemnet’s Cinderella Study Series
We worked with Haemnet to create a series of animations to share stories from their Cinderella Study. The Cinderella Study was a research project which gathered qualitative data from hundreds of women living with a bleeding disorder, across the UK in 2020.
This included a series of focus groups with women affected by haemophilia, thrombocytopenia, von Willebrand disease and other rare bleeding disorders, during which they discussed the impact of bleeding on their lives.
The animation series was intended to shed light on some of the lesser-known stories of bleeding disorders in the UK, as often women’s symptoms get overlooked and dismissed. The stories featured in this series were based on transcribed content from these focus groups, and represents real, lived experiences.
