The Role
We're now looking for a creative, proactive, and highly organised Virtual Studio Assistant to support both the day-to-day running, and ongoing strategic development of Woven Ink.
Key Responsibilities
Communications & Promotion
Managing enquiries through our hello@ emails
Writing clear, engaging copy for emails, proposals, and online platforms
Posting content to social media (Instagram and LinkedIn)
Updating website content when projects launch (Squarespace)
Identifying and reaching out to potential collaborators, clients, and funding opportunities
Client & Project Coordination
Schedule calls and support with maintaining smooth communication with clients
Managing diaries and calendars
Assist with quoting and invoicing (Xero experience preferred – training available)
Liaising with Voiceover agencies to source and manage auditions
Organisational & Admin Support
Maintaining file backup systems and digital archiving
Conduct research to support creative or operational tasks
Research film festivals and manage submissions for relevant projects, maintaining a clear tracking system for deadlines and requirements
Access Support
Assist the company directors with task prioritisation, planning and follow-through
Provide structured support to help manage attention and workflow
We’re looking for someone who is
A strong, adaptable copywriter – able to write professionally, yet within our tone of voice
Organised and detail-oriented, especially with time and task management
Creative, with an interest in animation, storytelling, or the wider creative industries
Comfortable working flexibly and independently
Comfortable / enjoys learning about platforms or tools (Xero, Squarespace etc.)
Looking for a long-term freelance relationship
