I loved working with Woven Ink. Isolde and Jess brought enthusiasm, insight and professionalism to each part of the process and it felt like a real and trusting partnership. When you commission work outside of your comfort zone it’s important to have faith that your ideas make sense and to get guidance on what will (or won’t) work and that was always provided. I felt confident in what was happening at each step of the production process, and the final films felt instantly familiar from our concepts and conversations. I look forward to finding more excuses to work with this great team in the future.
— Marc Heatley, Creative Director, Proper Design
Working with Isolde and Jess was a real pleasure. They managed to translate our abstract dialogue methodologies into tangible storylines and visuals with useful direction for relating to our target audience. They were always responsive, as well as being flexible and patient when we changed our minds about content! They ensured a smooth and accessible process, including for those of us with little experience of film production

It looks amazing! Thank you so much to all of your team, it was a real pleasure working with you and we couldn’t be happier with the piece. Your work was a real talking point of the conference and loads of people have mentioned it in their feedback. It’s great to hear you enjoyed being at the event as we really enjoyed having you there
— Matt Wilkinson, Sustainability Projects Lead, University of London
We love working with Woven Ink, this is now our 4th film with this creative, imaginative and professional team. They bring excellent project management, artistic talent and joy to every project, and are able to really ‘get’ their clients’ needs. They interpret the brief with a 6th sense, knowing what we want and need to connect with our audience in more ways than we do! The films they have produced for us have increased our organisations popularity and we now have almost 2k clicks to our website, which is in a large part to their engaging and beautiful films.
— KATY DENT, PROGRAMMES OFFICER, THE FAITH AND BELIEF FORUM
Woven Ink are dedicated, creative and thorough in their approach.

They took the time to explore the themes of our event in detail, and helped us to think through exactly what we wanted from capturing visual minutes of the conversations.

It was a pleasure to work with them and we cannot recommend them highly enough!
— Caitlin Pearson, Events Programme Manager, Royal African Society
Woven Ink’s team totally gets it - they used our lingo, took our feedback on board, and were super easy to collaborate with. They were just the right fit for us. Can’t recommend them enough!

Working with Woven Ink was the highlight of our project! They managed to take a very niche topic and make it relatable and compelling to a broad audience with their powerful animation and stunning visuals. Throughout the process, they were inventive and flexible – which is more than I thought we could ask for in an animation company. It felt like we were working with two friends, which made it easy throughout the entire process. BONUS – we also loved working with a woman-owned and operated business that focuses on progressive issues. That made it feel like a worthwhile investment on top of the captivating videos they produced. Looking forward to working with Isolde and Jess again!

Woven Ink together with artist Mathilde have done a superb job in this exceeding the exceptions of this AHRC-funded project. Highly professional, sensitive when working with vulnerable people, open to new ideas but also very knowledgeable in their field and excellent communicators on all levels. It’s been a pleasure working with WovenInk on this project.

The resulting animation is striking and beautiful, gentle but also very engaging. It holds the space for the voices it represents and every viewer we have asked has taken something meaningful away from it. Feedback from GPs and nurses, the target group for the animation, has been very positive, and the animation has also been enjoyed by a wide range of different viewers. It amplifies voices often unheard and the experiences they have to share...

Thanks so much for helping us make this a reality.
— Dr Heike Bartel - PI for AHRC-funded Research Network ‘Hungry for Words’ - Associate Professor in German, The University of Nottingham

Jess and Isolde were a pleasure to work with from start to finish! They were very professional and I was very grateful for how easy they made it for us to work with them. We were delighted with the visual minutes that they produced for us! They managed to distil the key messages that were discussed throughout the day and produced a beautiful artwork that helped to relay the spirit of the event at the same time. We’ve been using the image continuously to communicate the outcomes of the workshop both to the attendees and those who weren’t able to be there.
— Dr Aleksandra Berditchevskaia, Senior Researcher, Centre for Collective Intelligence Design

Jess and Isolde’s involvement and contribution to our film and visual projects makes a significant difference to the quality of our work... As well as creativity and imagination, they have an infectious enthusiasm that really brings projects to life.
— MIKE HOLLAND & SANDRA DODGSON, HAEMNET
Woven Ink were great to work with. Isolde and Jess immediately understood what we were looking to create, and worked to tight deadlines to bring our animation to life. Throughout the process they supplied different options and alternatives, and quickly adapted to our feedback. The result was an animation that tells the stories of the women we work with in humanitarian disasters in an eye-catching and engaging way, which has been performing very well on our social channels. We’re really happy with the result, and would certainly recommend working with them.

We really enjoyed working with Woven Ink. The artwork that was created to illustrate our residents’ stories were amazing and really captured the essence of the individuals. In creating these artworks, we loved that fact that Woven Ink got the balance right between consulting us on what we wanted and using their creative flare and professional expertise to run with it.

The visual minutes from our working session were nothing short of incredible and again captured the essence of the meeting in a very accessible and eye-catching way.

Woven Ink are incredibly professional and a joy to work with. We cannot thank them enough for their hard work and how important their work will be in shaping the positive changes we want to see in the future.

The team at Woven Ink worked with us, setting one of their beautiful animations to a recording of a new choral song which we had recently commissioned. The result was a transformation of that song: their animation work, and their ability to understand the brief that we set them, were instrumental to the successful outcome of the work. We were delighted with the results and are confident that their work will enable the young people with whom we work to engage even more effectively with the issues raised by the song.
— Josh Cass, Faith and Belief forum
It was just one of those times when a special rapport has established right off the bat. Woven Ink developed a magnificent visual piece for us, capturing event speakers’ most powerful and encouraging messages. Working with the talented team of Woven Ink brings pure joy and absolute confidence.

Isolde was honestly such a joy to work with from start to finish! She took the time to understand our work and what we wanted to be captured from the day. We not only have a beautiful reminder of our work, we now have something our young people can use as part of our work campaigning against gender-based violence in Bangladesh, Tanzania and the UK.

Isolde was such a great addition to the day and her minutes have left our youth advocates inspired and proud of the work they have achieved. I couldn’t recommend Woven Ink highly enough!

We worked with Woven Ink to help us minute a panel talk and discussion on our youth programme. The illustrations were a fantastic way to minute the event and helped reflect the creativity of the conversations. Jess and Isolde were able to pull interesting, important and thoughtful reflections into the artwork. We’d absolutely work with them again.
— Hannah Cox, Young People's Programme Manager, National Theatre

Isolde & Jess were excellent to work with: they helped us to produce a trio of short films that are distinctive, engaging and useful, and which I expect to play an integral part in how we talk about ourselves and our work for years to come. They brought creativity and sensitivity to our subject matter, and absorbed some of the cultural idiosyncrasies of our organisation and our sector. And they ran a great project, marked by clear communication, a collegial approach to sharing ideas and feedback, and their fantastic blend and balance of individual skills and strengths.
— Mark Ballinger, Head of Communications, Early Intervention Foundation

Julie’s Bicycle worked with Woven Ink for an event on climate justice. We are really impressed by the beautiful dynamic image that was created, which neatly captured quotes, portraits, images and interlinking narrative from across the day. Jess and Isolde were a pleasure to work with, and helpfully summarised the final image they’d produced for attendees during our closing session too.

We came to the Woven Ink team with a few ideas for what we wanted and got some great suggestions, a lot of collaborative work and some real commitment to our tight deadline. We ended up with an animation that exceed our expectations and our customers love it!
