#EndFGM: Women's Voices

#EndFGM: Women’s Voices

This animated film series was commissioned by the Royal College of Midwives, in collaboration with Survivors of FGM, local community partners and NGOs, The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, and The Royal College of General Practitioners.

They were made with the aim to both raise awareness of the health and psychological consequences of FGM, and to cut through much of the inaccurate and misleading information circulating in the public sphere about FGM.

We worked closely with FGM survivors to ensure the authenticity of the stories, being told within the films, remained true to the realities and experiences of having undergone FGM and its psychological and physical impacts.

We call upon all UK Governments to make a commitment to #EndFGM completely by 2030.
