Nesta - Designing Collective Intelligence

The event was a day of talks, workshops and discussions to map the best tools and methods for collective intelligence. How do we mobilise humans and machines to address social needs?

Designing Collective Intelligence: mobilising humans and machines to address social needs

Hosted by Nesta and SAGE Publishing, the event was a day of talks, workshops and discussions to map the best tools and methods for collective intelligence; to learn from the inspiring people and projects already pioneering important work in this space; and to discuss how we can make the most of the opportunity in collective intelligence through research, experiments and practical programmes.

Visual Minutes created by Isolde Godfrey & Jess Harvey

We were delighted with the visual minutes that Jess and Isolde produced for us! They managed to distil the key messages that were discussed throughout the day and produced a beautiful artwork that helped to relay the spirit of the event at the same time. We’ve been using the image continuously to communicate the outcomes of the workshop both to the attendees and those who weren’t able to be there.

Jess and Isolde were a pleasure to work with from start to finish! They were very professional and took time in advance of the event to understand the content, format and our objectives. On the day, they stayed focused and adapted well to a demanding format. I was very grateful for how easy they made it for us to work with them
